Introduction:

 

     Flux, generally a substance that lowers the softening, melting or liquefying temperature of its material. In metallurgy, its main function is to combine with impurities in minerals to form slag and separate from metal to achieve the purpose of smelting or refining. According to the chemical properties, it can be divided into: (1) alkaline flux with calcium oxide and magnesium oxide as main components; (2) acidic flux with silica as main component; (3) fluorite and oxidation Aluminum is the central flux for the main component.

 

Used:

 

     Calcium aluminate (formerly known as polished aluminum slag and calcium) is mainly used to remove sulfur, oxygen and other impurities from molten steel in LF furnaces and open furnaces, refining and converting ladle, and reducing the content of harmful elements and impurities in steel. Suitable for ordinary carbon steel, high carbon steel, high and low steel.

 

Ingredient:

 

      A white solid almost insoluble in water. Porous silicification is difficult. It is easy to absorb moisture without decomposition (combustion does not absorb moisture). Male oxides dissolved in inorganic acid and alkaline solutions are basically insoluble in water. Water and nonpolar organic solvents. Relative density (D204) 4, 0. Melting point is about 2000 C.
White or gray or granular. Humidity sensitive. Easy to absorb carbon dioxide and water in the air. Calcium hydroxide forms in water, generates a lot of heat, dissolves in acid, glycerol and sugar solutions, and is basically insoluble in ether. Relative density is 3.32-3.35. Temperature: 2572 C, boiling point: 2850 C, refractive index: 1838. Corrosivity
