Black Silver Gray Silicon Slag Steelmaking Additive With ISO Certification
silicon slag is one of the iron silicon alloys made by electric furnace smelting ,and it' s raw material is coke, scrap steel, quartz (or silica ). Ferrosilicium is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of forum and silicon.
The ferrosilicon is silver grey and mainly used as the inoculants and nodulizers in casting industry and deoxidizer in steelmaking.
Functions:
1. In the iron and steel smelting, ferrosilicium often used as deoxidize agent.
2. Improve the hardness, strength, elasticity and permeability of steel.
3. Lower the hysteresis loss of the transformer.
4. To prevent the formation of carbides.
