CaAl CaFe CaSiBa Ca28-35 Alloy Cored Wire
Cored wire is widely used on ladle refining process. Crushing the additives (de-oxidant, desulfurizer, alloys) into certain granulation (in the form of powder), then, using the equipment to fill the powder into “U” shaped sheath, which is made of high quality cold rolled steel strip, lastly, tightly closing the wire, so a multiple material (cored wire) with certain length will be obtained.
Core wire characteristics:
1. It is beneficial to adjust and control the content of easily oxidizable elements and trace elements, which can greatly increase the alloy yield, reduce the smelting cost, shorten the smelting time, and accurately control the composition.
2. It plays the role of pure molten steel and partially changing the properties and morphology of inclusions, improving the quality of molten steel and improving the casting state.
3. The cored wire is divided into two types: inner draw type and outer draw type. The machinery and equipment required for feeding the wire are simple and reliable, and the floor area is small. Especially the inner draw type cored wire is more suitable for use in narrow places.
