Properties of Manganese-rich residual

Manganese-rich slag is an intermediate product of manganese ore smelting process and is then refined into manganese metal. The production is a high-iron, high-phosphorus-poor manganese ore that cannot be directly used for smelting, and is blended with an insufficient amount of carbon as a reducing agent to completely reduce iron and phosphorus under a lower furnace temperature and acid slag. The manganese is left in the slag to the maximum to obtain manganese-rich slag with high manganese, low iron and low phosphorus, and by-product iron with high iron content, high phosphorus content and low manganese content. The manganese-rich slag is further refined to obtain manganese metal, which can also be separately produced as a product for other uses.
