Product Description:
Silicon Slag is a kind of mixture which contains the main content Silicon (30%~70%) and other components such as C, S, P, Al, Fe.
It is a by-product from the manufacturer of silicon metal, mainly used in steelmaking, casting and so on.
It can also be very good to improve furnace temperature, increase the flow of molten iron slag effectively.

Application:
The purpose of silicon slag is mainly to be used as a deoxidizer and to refine industrial silicon in silicon slag. As a deoxidizer, it can reduce costs and increase profits. Some silicon components in the silicon slag can also be used to purify industrial silicon, etc. Slag is also a "star" in the field of deoxidation. Because of its low price and silicon content, steel manufacturers tend to purchase ferroalloy raw materials for steel making products. Silicon slag performs equally well in desulfurization, mainly because of silicon. The slag contains a large amount of alkaline oxides, which can react with sulfur dioxide to form sulfate, and its slurry can be used for flue gas desulfurization.
