     Calcium silicon ba-containing alloy is an effectively new type of composite alloy, which is deoxidizer and desulfurizer in
steelmaking and has the performance of dephosphorization, in addition which is also inoculant and metamorphic agent in casting.

     Barium in steelmaking temperature range effectively reduce the vapor pressure of calcium,increase the solubility of calcium in the liquid steel. Compared with the calcium silicon alloy,calcium silicon ba-containing alloy as a source of calcium to join in liquid steel, the addition of calcium quantity is half of the addition in calcium silicon alloy, while the calcium content in liquid steel is twice as calcium in calcium silicon alloy; the stability of calcium in liquid steel can also be improved obviously. This shows barium in liquid steel effectively protect the calcium, reduce the oxidation of calcium so as to achieve the purpose of treating calcium in liquid steel.

Performance And Use:

     1. Silicon strontium calcium alloy is a high-efficiency new composite alloy in lanthanide alloy. It is a deoxidizer, desulfurizer and dephosphorization of steelmaking; it is an inoculant and a modifier in casting.
     2. The effective reduction of the vapor pressure of calcium in the steelmaking temperature range increases the solubility of calcium in the molten steel. Compared with the silicon-calcium alloy, the silicon-germanium-calcium alloy is used as a calcium source to be added to the molten steel. When the amount of calcium added is half of that of the silicon-calcium alloy, the calcium content in the molten steel is about twice that of the silicon-calcium alloy. Calcium is also significantly increased in molten steel. It fully shows that strontium effectively protects calcium in molten steel and reduces the oxidation of calcium, thus achieving the purpose of treating calcium in molten steel.
