Ferro Silicon Slag Description:

     1. Silicon slag(off grade silicon) is a by-product when making silicon metal.

     2. The silicon content is from 45% to95%, and the rest are C, S, P, Al, SiO2, Fe, Ca etc.

     3. The silicon slag is much cheaper than purity silicon metal, and has many industrial applications.

Ferro Silicon Slag Application:

     1. Silicon slag can be used to recrystallize and purify;

     2. Effectively discharge slag, increase the label, and improve the toughness and cutting ability of the casting. In the process of re-smelting stainless steel in the electric furnace, the stainless steel manufacturer uses slag as a reducing agent to improve efficiency and output; ferrosilicon slag is produced from ferrosilicon The slag cleaned from the ladle, except for impurities, is the same in nature as ferrosilicon. It can be re-smelted into ferrosilicon or directly used in steel plants for steelmaking deoxidation. Some pig iron castings can improve their mechanical properties by adding a small amount of ferrosilicon; when pouring molten steel, adding ferrosilicon powder to the heat preservation cap can act as a heating agent.
